NOTE: After a battery change or an abnormal
display or function is noticed, an ALL RESET
is required. Be sure to set the time and date
after performing the ALL RESET.
ALL RESET PROCEDURE
Press and release the upper left button (M) to
move mode indicator to TME (time) mode.
Pull the crown out to setting position.
Press the upper left (M), lower left(B) and lower
right(A) buttons down simultaneously for 3
seconds, then release them. All digital segments
in the displays will be highlighted (black).
Press crown in. At this point, a beep is heard
indicating that ALL RESET is complete. Set
correct time and calendar and other modes as
needed.
TO SET THE ANALOG TIME
Pull crown out to hand setting position and turn
crown.
TO SWITCH DIGITAL MODES
Modes can be changed in the following
sequence: TME (time), CAL (calendar), AL-1 and
AL-2 (alarms), CHR (chronograph), TMR (timer),
SET (zone setting) by pushing and releasing the
Mode (M) button.
TO SET THE DIGITAL TIME
Press the lower left button (B) to move the time
zone city code into digital display II.
If TME is not showing in digital mode display,
press the upper left button (M) button to select
TME.
Press the lower left button (B) in and hold for 3
seconds to switch to digital time setting mode.
S.T. (summer time) used for daylight saving time
and "ON" or "OF" will begin flashing.
Press lower right button (A) to select S.T. "ON"
or "OF" (off).
Press and release lower left button (B).
Seconds figures will flash. Use lower right
button (A) to reset seconds.
*Press and release the lower left button (B).
Minutes will flash. Press the lower right button
(A) to adjust minutes. Hold the lower right button
(A) continuously for rapid change.
Press and release the lower left button (B).
Hours will flash.
Press the lower right button (A) to set hours
according to a.m. or p.m.
Press the lower left button (B). 12H will flash.
Press the lower right button (A) to select 24H
(military time) if desired.
Press the lower left button (B) or the upper
left button ( M) to return to normal time display.
TO SET THE CALENDAR
Press and release the upper left button (M)
to move mode indicator to CAL (calendar).
Digital display I shows Month and Date.
Digital display II shows City Code.
Hold the lower left button (B) in for three
seconds and then release. Month number
starts flashing. Press the lower right button (A)
to advance month number.
Press and release lower left button (B). Date
starts flashing. Press the lower right button (A)
to advance date.
Press and release the lower left button (B).
Digital display I shows the year and year
numbers will be flashing. Press the lower right
button (A) to advance year.
After the lower left button (B) or upper left
button ( M) is pressed, digital display l shows
month (numeric) and date.
TO SET ALARMS (ALM 1 & 2 )
Pressing the upper left button (M), move the
mode indicator to ALM 1 (or ALM 2).
Press and hold the lower left button (B) for 3
seconds then release it. The hours in digital
display I will flash.
Press the lower right button (A) to advance
hours.
Press and release the lower left button (B).
Minutes in digital display I will flash. Press the
lower right button (A) to set minutes.
Setting alarm time sets alarm to on.
Press the lower left button (B) to finalize
setting.
To switch alarm off or on while in alarm
mode, press the lower right button (A). While
in alarm mode, digital display II shows city
code.
TO USE THE CHRONOGRAPH
Press upper left button (M) to move to
CHR mode. The chronograph can measure
up to 23 hour, 59 minutes, 59 and 99/100
seconds.
Press the lower right button (A) to start or
stop chronograph. Digital display I shows
minutes, seconds and 1/100 seconds.
Digital display Il shows measured time
hours.
If the lower left button (B) is pressed while
chronograph is running, a split time is
displayed for 10 seconds as chronograph
continues counting elapsed time internally.
If the lower left button (B) is pressed when
counting is stopped, chronograph is reset to
zero.
TO USE THE TIMER
Press the upper left button (M) to move to
TMR (Timer mode). Timer can be set to
countdown from 99 minutes down to 1
minute in 1-minute intervals. Digital display
ll shows Timer set time in minutes and
digital display I shows Timer minutes and
seconds remaining.
Press lower left button (B) to set Timer
minutes.
Press lower right button (A) to start or stop
Timer countdown.
Pressing lower left button (B) after Timer
is stopped resets it to original Timer set
time.
If the lower left button (B) is pressed while
Timer is running, the time is reset to the
original Timer set time and restarts the
countdown automatically. When Timer
counts down to zero, the time up signal
sounds for 5 seconds and the display
returns to the Timer set time and stops.
